Camarillo, CA – On Monday, July 17th the Rotary Clubs of Camarillo will host the 25th annual Care For Kids Golf Classic at Spanish Hills Country Club with a field of golfers of all skill levels ready to enjoy a day of challenging golf in shotgun format. Organized by the Rotary Clubs of Camarillo to benefit Casa Pacifica and other Rotary charities, the tournament is chaired this year by Kevin Nunn and Kevin Estes, who along with their tournament committee have planned another exciting, competitive, and fun-filled day in honor of the tournament’s 25thanniversary. Each golfer will receive a wonderful tee-package, and in addition to the gross and net play competition, will have the option to compete in long-drive and on-course “Closest to the Hole” contests. After their great day of challenging golf, the players will enjoy a cocktail and hors d’oeuvres reception and awards dinner in the clubhouse, and raise more money for Casa Pacifica and the other charities through a large opportunity drawing and a live auction. The tournament is proud to have Advanced Motion Controls as its Title Sponsor this year.
Over 25 years of hosting this great event, the Rotary Clubs of Camarillo has donated more than $1.5 million dollars in support of the vulnerable children and families of Ventura County.
It takes a lot of volunteers, sponsors, raffle and live auction donors, and of course, golfers to organize, work at, and participate in the event - people who help make the whole day not only possible, but a huge success, ultimately providing significant funds to help Casa Pacifica fill the gap between what funding it receives through government contracts, and the actual costs of running the agency’s myriad therapeutic, healing programs and services.
There are still openings for single players or foursomes of golfers to play in this year’s Care For Kids Golf Classic. If you’d like to sign up, or for more information, please contact Anna Coulson at (805) 366-4023, or email You can also visit for more information.
