Third Annual Raffle Fundraiser to Support Local Charities 2nd Place Prize is a One Week Stay at a Las Vegas Condominium Resort
 
The Arroyo Grande Rotary Club is again partnering with Santa Maria Harley-Davidson® to raise money for local nonprofits.  The grand prize winner at the July 29th drawing event will win a Harley-Davidson® 2017 Road Glide Special including CA sales tax and registration fees!  2nd Prize will be a one week stay at a condominium vacation resort in Las Vegas.  A maximum of 1,000 tickets will be sold giving purchasers very good odds!  Tickets are available via local retailers check www.RotaryHarleyRaffle.com for locations or directly from a member of the AG Rotary Club or by calling 805-270-3936.
 
The big Drawing Event will happen at the Santa Maria Harley-Davidson store on Saturday, July 29th, from 2pm until 5pm.  The festivities will include food, drinks and a local live band favorite, The CliffNotes.  Additionally, AmpSurf will be sponsoring a Veterans Therapeutic Ride and “Poker Run” that morning ending at the Drawing Event in Santa Maria.
 
The Santa Maria Harley-Davidson Dealership has again joined the AG Rotary Club as the Raffle’s Major Sponsor.  Raffle Partners (and beneficiaries) are Dana Adobe, AmpSurf, CampFire, The Village of Arroyo Grande Association and RISE. Additional sponsors include Rabobank, David Tennant Insurance Agency, Oyster Loft, Burdine Printing, Russ Brown Attorneys and the Phillips 66 Santa Maria Refinery.  Media sponsors are the Tolosa Press, El Dorado Broadcasters, Dimes Central Coast and Emerald Wave Media.
 
Lompoc resident, James Hall, was the 2016 winner of the Arroyo Grande Rotary Club’s big Harley-Davidson® Raffle Fundraiser.  The 2016 raffle allowed Rotary to raise $36,500 for area nonprofits.
 
Since 1945 the Rotary Club of Arroyo Grande has united business, professional and civic leaders for the common good both locally and around the globe.  Arroyo Grande Rotarians are well known for their various philanthropic and community activities including the annual Rotary Fish Fry during the Arroyo Grande Valley Harvest Festival (September 22nd), the annual Christmas and Holiday Sing-Along show (December 17th) at the Clark Center and the Rotary Relays for local Junior High athletes which occurs each May.  The club also funds international service projects and provides over $12,000 in college scholarships yearly.  Rotary International is the world’s largest and most notable philanthropic service organization.  The motto of its 1.2 million members is “Service Above Self.”
