First of all I would like to wish each and every one of our Rotarians a Very Happy New Year with good health and good news.

One of our Rotary Principles is to use your vocation to do good in the World.  The concept of vocational service is rooted in the second object of Rotary, which calls on Rotarians to encourage and foster:

• High ethical standards in business and professions
• The recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations
• The dignifying of each Rotarian’s occupation as an opportunity to serve society

We are halfway through our Rotary year and I am happy to say we are on an uphill trend with our membership and we are getting closer to adding a new Club in the Oxnard area which will be a Hispanic Culture Club. I would like to invite all of you to “Think Different“ and look for opportunities for new clubs in your areas.

We are saddened to announce that the January 28-30, 2022 District Conference & Foundation Gala dates are canceled.  We are researching new dates for later this year and have our fingers crossed that the COVID variant will be on a deep decline by then and it will once again be safe to hold an in-person gathering.
