June is Rotary Fellowship Month.

June is designated as “Rotary Fellowship Month” to recognize the importance of international fellowship and good will among Rotarians with similar recreational interests and vocations.  As we wind down this Rotary year, we should reflect on fellowships and friendships that are developed in Rotary.  In addition to giving back to the community, fellowship is an important element to joining Rotary.

I am so proud of the accomplishments of our clubs this year and am touched by the support from old friends and the new friendships that were created.  And after a challenging couple of years from the pandemic, our net membership in the District has increased!

I am so impressed by the tremendous work the clubs have done - from local community and youth service projects - to the global and district grants that were completed - to the incredible support to bring aid to the refugees from Ukraine.

You should all be proud of the work you have done.  We hope to see you at the District 5240 Club Awards & DG Step Down on June 25thPlease register here! Let’s continue this great work and prepare for the new Rotary year with incoming DG Scott Phillips on July 1!

It has been my honor to serve such hard-working Rotarians.
