David Morton
 
Bio
David is the Executive Vice President of A-C Electric Company; a Bakersfield based electrical construction and renewable energy company with operations throughout California. In addition to his corporate and operational duties, David has been leading the Company expansion into the Southern California region in the construction and technology sectors. David has also led the development of the A-C Solar group, achieving the #3 position among Commercial Solar Companies in California on the 2018 Solar Power World Magazine ratings guide. Prior to joining A-C Electric Company in 1997, David was a Program Manager for TRW Automotive Electronics Group in Farmington Hills, Michigan.

David has been an active member of the Bakersfield community for the past twenty years, serving on the Board of Directors of The Bakersfield Memorial Hospital Foundation, The Bakersfield Museum of Art and The Waterman Foundation. David is a proud member and Past President of The Rotary Club of Bakersfield “Downtown”. He is a Leadership Bakersfield alumni and former member of Couples Against Cancer and The Active 20-30 Club. 
 
David holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from UC San Diego and a Masters in Business Administration from The University of Michigan.
