At the April 24 Cambria Rotary meeting, we were inspired by our Middle School and High School 4‑Way Test Essay winners. Each student shared a powerful personal story about a moment when Rotary’s 4‑Way Test could have changed a decision. Even more impressive? Writing the essay wasn’t required — they chose to do it. We couldn’t be prouder of these thoughtful, courageous young people.
After the meeting, several club members gathered at the Old Santa Rosa Schoolhouse on Main Street for a special moment — the unveiling of a Peace Pole gifted to the Cambria Historical Society. This marks the 8th Peace Pole installed in Cambria, standing as a lasting symbol of unity, hope, and peace in our community.
And our impact doesn’t stop locally. We are honored to partner with the Rotary Club of Livingstone to support girls from impoverished communities in Zambia. By sponsoring two students at Kazungula Boarding Secondary School, we’re helping them stay in school — and opening doors to opportunity, dignity, and a brighter future.
