Council of Governors - COG

1. The Past Governors Advisory Committee (often referred to as the Council of Governors) shall consist of all Past District Governors of any District who are active members of clubs in District 5240. The DG may, at his/her discretion, appoint ad hoc committees from within this group to assist in matters pertaining to the welfare of the District. 2. The Past Governors Advisory Committee shall meet at least once each year during the District Conference at a time and place designated by the DG. 3. The DG shall solicit discussion items from members of the Committee and from the DGE. 4. At the annual meeting of the Committee the DGE will name one of the members of the Committee to serve as Chair during the following Rotary year. 5. The PDG named the previous year shall preside over the annual meeting.
