Welcome to the Earthwise Education Program
The Earthwise Education Program, poised for launch in September 2024 to coincide with the schools’ Fall Semester, marks a transformative collaboration between Jeden and Rotary District 5240, including significant contributions from the Rotary Club of Westlake Village Sunrise. This initiative is dedicated to instilling robust environmental stewardship among K-12 students throughout our region, aiming to inspire and educate them to become proactive environmental advocates.
The program, supported by a Rotary 5240 District grant, focuses on reducing food waste and enhancing school gardens through the provision of 40 rapid composters and biochar in 38 schools in 8 school districts spanning all four counties of Rotary District 5240.
