The Rotary E-Club of One World is proud to share the success of our recent District Grant project, a collaboration with the Rotary Club of Accra-Spintex in Ghana.

In a heartwarming display of love and service on Valentine’s Day, the Rotary Club of Accra-Spintex and the Rotary E-Club of One World joined forces to support the Akosombo Inclusive Hub, a specialized school in Atimpoku, near Akosombo, dedicated to children with special needs.
As part of their commitment to improving education and inclusivity, the two clubs donated an array of essential items, including:

Solar lighting systems – ensuring uninterrupted learning sessions even during power outages

Laptops and educational tablets – facilitating digital literacy and interactive learning

Books and art materials – fostering creativity and cognitive development

A printer – to enhance administrative and academic work

Drum sets and other entertainment equipment – These were used immediately by the children and dancing ensued.

The donation was met with excitement from students, teachers, and parents, who expressed their gratitude for the transformative impact these items will have on the children’s education and overall well-being.

Through teamwork and dedication, the Rotary E-Club of One World and the Rotary Club of Spintex have turned a shared vision into reality. This project is a testament to the power of Rotary collaboration and the impact we can achieve when we come together to serve communities in need.
