Members of The Santa Maria Rotary Club Noon gather after a check presentation to the YMCA RiseUp program Dec. 11 in the amount of $13,500. The money was raised during the club's Sips n' Sombreros fundraiser in November. The club also purchased gifts for the 55 children in RiseUp, a program designed in partnership with Allan Hancock College to bridge a large educational and social wellness gap, particularly in single parent and larger families.
