On Sunday, April 10th the Rotary Club of Simi Sunrise held their annual Bolio event at Harley's Simi Bowl in Simi Valley.  This event is a fundraiser to support Rotary's battle against the Polio virus which has been eradicated in all but two countries in the world.  It is an opportunity for fun and fellowship centered around 10 pins which one attempts to knock over using a 12 pound ball with 3 holes drilled in it for your fingers.  Sounds primitive, doesn't it?

The event was attended by Rotarians and family from several Rotary clubs in Moorpark and Simi Valley.  Bragging rights were gained and with each crash of ball and pins.  Also attending were several bowlers from the Special Olympics team.  They can really down those pins and a nice sense of camaraderie always ensues amongst all of the bowling aficionados.

Another successful event for Rotary and he funds will be forwarded on to The Rotary Fund for the final Polio push.
