Rotarians had the honor of serving as judges for today’s San Luis Obispo County 4-H speaking competition, and wow—these young people blew us away!
From elementary-age students to high schoolers, participants took the stage to present on a wide range of topics they’re passionate about—from raising chickens to the history of photography, to football strategy, anatomy, and even how to bake the perfect chocolate chip cookies.
It takes courage to stand in front of a room and share your knowledge. The preparation, confidence, and passion these kids brought to their presentations were beyond inspiring. They worked so hard and put themselves out there, and we couldn’t be more impressed!
A huge thank you to Bill Herreras for once again organizing the Rotary judges for this event. Your dedication to supporting young leaders is truly making an impact. To all the 4-H participants—keep learning, keep leading, and keep sharing your voices. You are the future!
