On March 24, 2018, the Arroyo Grande Rotary Club, along with the Five Cities Eco Rotary Club and the Rotary Interact Club from Nipomo High School, worked with members of the Tree Guild and City staff to plant 20 trees at Rancho Grande Park. Through the Recreation Services Department’s Adopt-a- Park program, the Arroyo Grande Rotary Club purchased the native species trees and necessary supplies for the project that was completed with assistance from the other groups. This project was a huge success and also assisted in reaching the Rotary International’s goal of planting 1.2 million trees worldwide by April 22, 2018.

The City of Arroyo Grande is grateful for community groups and members that take an active role in the beautification of our community and enhance the condition and quality of our parks and open spaces.
