DISTRICT CHARITABLE FOUNDATION
WATER PROJECT GRANTS
The Water Project Grants program was established to assist and support Rotary Clubs in District 5240 interested in engaging in Water Projects. The District Charitable Foundation administers this program on behalf of the trustees of a Rotary D5240 Charitable Water Projects Donor Advised Fund to provide funds to Rotary District 5240 Clubs who are the host partner or the international partner for a Rotary Foundation Global Grant whose area of focus is Water and Sanitation.
Costs eligible for payment are those within the guidelines of Rotary Global Grants and District Grants. Travel costs are excluded. For a Global Grant, the maximum grant amount is $1,000 and must be matched by funds from the sponsoring club.
To participate in the DCF Water Project Grant Program, download the Water Project Grant Guidelines and Application from the links on the left hand side of this page. Complete the application form, including the signature of the sponsoring Rotary Club president, and forward to the DCF Grants Committee Chair via email at dcfgrants@district5240.org
If your DCF Water Project Grant application is approved, you must notify the DCF when The Rotary Foundation approves the associated Global Grant. The DCF will facilitate the transfer of funds from the Water Project Grant directly to The Rotary Foundation.
If you have problems filling out the forms, please download Acrobat Reader DC from www.adobe.com. This is a free download.
