Pismo Beach Five Cities Rotary Club participated in District 5240 Flash Mob on October 2 through 4, 2026 by refurbishing its Little Free Food Pantry. The Pantry has served the Oceano community for several years. The Pantry had suffered wear and tear from the elements and heavy community use. It looked pretty sad. Starting on Friday through Sunday, Club volunteers repaired, sanded, painted, and re-stocked the Pantry. Included in the project, the club had new aluminum signs made in English and Spanish. By Sunday afternoon, the paint was dry and new signs were installed. The Pantry was re-stocked and open for business. Shown in the photos are Anya Stanley, President; Scott Astrosky, District Governor Elect and Club Member; Trisha Coffey, Club Member; Sharon Ellis, Club Secretary; and Ed Harris, Club Member.
